උත්කර්ෂවත් NAACP සම්මාන රාත්‍රියේ ජයග්‍රාහකයින් නිකුත් වෙයි

NAACP Image Awards යනුවෙන් හැඳින්වෙන්නේ සිනමා ක්ෂේත්‍රයට සම්බන්ධව ලෝ පුරා වාර්ෂිකව පවත්වනු ලබන සම්මාන උළෙල අතුරින් තවත් ප්‍රධානම සම්මාන රාත්‍රියක්. Oscars සහ Grammy සම්මාන උත්සව මෙන්ම දැවැන්ත උළෙලක් වන මෙහි විවිධ අංශ 40කට අධික ප්‍රමාණයකට වාර්ෂිකව සම්මාන ප්‍රදානය කෙරෙනවා.

සිනමාව, ටෙලිවිෂනය, වේදිකාව, සංගීතය සහ සාහිත්‍යය යන කැටගරි පහම නියෝජනය කෙරෙමින් NAACP Image Awards හිදී සම්මාන ප්‍රදානය කෙරෙනවා. නමුත් මෙහිදී සම්මාන පිරිනැමෙන්නේ එක් විශේෂ කාණ්ඩයට පමණක් වීමත් සැලකිය යුතු කරුණක්. National Association for the Advancement of Colored People හෙවත් NAACP සංවිධානයේ මූලිකත්වයෙන් පැවැත්වෙන මෙම සම්මාන රාත්‍රිය වෙන්වෙන්නේ, අදාළ තරඟ අංශ තුළ කැපී පෙනෙන දක්ෂතා දැක්වූ කළු ජාතිකයින් වෙනුවෙනුයි.

එනම් NAACP Image Awards වෙන්වෙන්නේ සිනමාව, සාහිත්‍ය, වේදිකාව ආදියෙන් දක්ෂතා දැක්වූ ඇමරිකානු කළු ජාතිකයින් උදෙසාම පමණයි.

වසර 54කට පෙර 1967 අගෝස්තු 13වනදා පළමු වරට ඇරඹි NAACP Image Awards සම්මාන රාත්‍රිය එතැන් පටන් මේ දක්වා නොකඩවා වාර්ෂිකව පවත්වා තිබෙනවා. පසුගිය පෙබරවාරි 26 වනදා පැවැත්වූයේ එහි 53වන දිග හැරුමයි. මෙවර උළෙලේ host වශයෙන් ඇමරිකානු රංගන ශිල්පී Anthony Anderson කටයුතු කළ අතර එය ඔහු host වශයෙන් මූලිකත්වය ගත් 09 වන අවස්ථාවයි.
2021 වසරට අදාළව ත්‍යාග සහ සම්මාන පිරි නැමුණු මෙවර උළෙල BET සහ ඊට සමගාමී රූපවාහිනී නාලිකා කිහිපයකින් විකාශනය කළ අතර සෙසු වසරවලට සාපේක්ෂව මෙවර විකාශනය වැඩි රසිකාගාරයක් නරඹා ඇති බවටත් අන්තර්ජාලයේ සඳහන් වනවා.

පහතින් දක්වා තිබෙන්නේ මෙවර සම්මාන උළෙලේදී සිනමාව වෙනුවෙන් සම්මාන දිනාගත් සම්පූර්ණ ජයග්‍රාහකයින්ගේ ලැයිස්තුවයි…
